LAS CAVERNITAS WATERFALLS

Las Cavernitas Waterfalls is located in Río Claro de Golfito, in southern Costa Rica very close to the Panama border and the Golfo Dulce. The property  has an area of 30 hectares (74.13 acres), mostly covered with forest and crossed by the River Rio Claro and another secondary river of possible volcanic origin by the formation of the stones and caverns, which gives the origin a total of 36 waterfalls and around 50 swimming holes.

There are 2 established hiking trails, the first is approximately 1 km in length, bordering the shore of the river/ falls and the 2nd trail is just over 2 km and is immersed in the mountain.
